| Bio: | A long time ago, in a far off mystical land, a wonderful thing happned. Actually, many wonderful and amazing things happned. But I had no part in them whatsoever. I am not bitter about it though--Well, not about that specifically at least. Yet, I try to remember those wonderous events none the less. To me, life is a story. I do not have a head for numbers, and the mundane facts of life often elude me. But tell me a story, sweep me up in a narrative event...In truth, that is the key to my worldview. If I can not tie something to a story, I may never understand it, and it will likely be fleeting in my memory. Of course, one can turn just about anything into a story, it is just a matter of having a skilled enough storyteller. I think it is also fair to say that I look at the world "through a glass, darkly" I am rarely an optimist. I would rather say I attempt to be a taoist pessimist. I expect things to go badly, and I try to be accepting of it, rather then be sorrowful and bemoan my fate. Bad things happen all the time, but that does not mean we have to be bothered by it. I try not to let it pain me, Oh yes, I try. And lastly, yes I do have a spelling checker. But I am also somewhat dyslexic. I am going to mispell things and make typos that I may not see even after I look over what I wrote. (multiple times *cough*) Learn to live with it because it is not going to go away any time soon. | |||
